ACHIEVEMENTS
I received the Safety Super Star Award at Disney's Contemporary Resort. This award recognizes individuals who successfully prevented a particular situation from becoming dangerous. I then had the honor of observing a safety training meeting where I learned a lot about the behind the scenes protocols that allow this organization to run so efficiently. This meeting showed how our leaders interact with the different lines of businesses around our resort.
Additionally, I received a Four Keys Card for preventing a potentially unsafe situation. A Four Keys Card is how Disney recognizes the efforts of its Cast Members.
I also attended a Town Hall meeting for recreation staff members. This meeting is essentially a huge brainstorming session about how to improve and change aspects of our resort to make it better. We were asked to think of simple and fast changes, changes that require a little more work and time, and changes that are extremely difficult to implement.
I have been given countless networking opportunities throughout my time here, and have discussed the possibility of furthering my career with a few leaders.
Our staff scavenger hunt throughout Magic Kindgom really encouraged team bonding and problem solving skills.
